Sertoma International

Third City Sertoma is not just a local organization--it is just one club of the many that make up Sertoma International. In the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Russia there are over 700 Sertoma clubs, all striving to live up to the Sertoma motto, "Service to Mankind."

Sertoma International has an active working partnership with the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the Hearing Loss Association of America, The Hearing Loop, the Hearing Charities of America and the Hearing Health Foundation.

Their combined goal is to provide access to hearing healthcare services and appropriate hearing amplification and assistive hearing technology. They also provide national scholarships for those attending post-graduate education to those with hearing impairments and those who will evaluate and treat those with hearing loss.

Our local chapter makes an annual donation to the Sertoma Hearing Foundation to support scholarships and grants to individuals and organizations.
